A private lodge was proposed to be developed on Shung Mbili Island, a remote island approximately 350m long by 200m wide located 12km off of Mafia Island, Tanzania.
PRDW conducted a site visit, gathered relevant information on site (e.g. sand grading, beach slopes, ground levels), conducted a wave refraction study, wave run-up calculations, extreme water level analysis and determined 1 in 10 year and 1 in 50 year flood levels and development setback lines for the island.
