The scope of work undertaken by PRDW included:
- The provision of design and detailed engineering services for the marine facilities including:
- wave and vessel motions modelling
- multi buoy mooring buoys, chains and anchor systems
- pipeline end manifold and flexible hose
- 3.5km subsea pipeline and beach crossing
- Procurement services:
- Contractor prequalification documentation
- Tender pricing data, drawings and specifications
- Review and adjudication of technical submissions
On award of the installation contract PRDW will provide:
- Technical field engineering support services during the construction and commissioning phases of the project
- Design reviews (HAZOP’s, QRA and risk reviews), quality inspections and attendance at site and progress meetings.
